There isn't a burning desire to have one, an itch that must be scratched, but it would certainly be a lovely thing to have, and a preference now over any other watch in that price area. A 10 second chrono hand on a 36000bps stopwatch seems to be a great idea. It looks spectacular, if slightly out of my price range. So anyway, this new release keeps all the best bits, and adds a few more. I hadn't looked at Chrono 24 for a few months, and the prices currently seem to me to be quite a bit higher than they were. Going back now, I do think the Chronomaster prices seem to have risen during the Covid lock down. I think what deterred me was that the El Primero was a very old design movement, and I just wondered.Īfter a lot of thought, I decided that of two old classics (the El Primero and the Moonwatch), the Omega just had it, and eventually got one. I also really like the 3 blue dials special that was only available in Switzerland. The El Primero inside is the product of decades of development, resulting in an iteration on the cutting edge of watchmaking: the El Primero 3600.

(This is the reference on a watch I just saw on Chrono 24, I am not 100% sure if this reference if exactly correct) I like the gold versions as well as the steel. Novem0 ADVERTISEMENT The Zenith Chronomaster Sport is like a modern remastering of Zenith's greatest hits.

I am struggling now to find one on chrono24, but something like 03.2040.400/69.C494. I really dislike the "smiley face" versions with the power reserve, is it? For choice it would be a 42mm white dial. Feb 15, 2021,14:21 PM The release of the Chronomaster Sport chronograph at the beginning of this year is excellent news for Zenith. I much prefer the 3 sub dials, with no open heart surgery. I had thought about the Chronomaster over the last year or so.
